Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 8, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to LiquidIndex (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency and care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, website (https://www.liquidindex.dev), and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Service.

2. Data We Collect

When you use LiquidIndex, we collect the following types of information:

  • Customer Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email, and other necessary details.
  • Uploaded Data: When you create a RAG session, you or your customers may upload data. This data is stored securely and used solely for query responses within the context of the session.
  • Usage Data: We collect metadata on how the platform is used, such as API calls and system logs, to improve performance and security.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the LiquidIndex service.
  • Securely process and respond to queries based on uploaded data.
  • Improve the platform's functionality and security.
  • Communicate important updates and support information.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We may share information with third-party services only when necessary for:

  • Cloud hosting and storage providers.
  • Security monitoring and compliance services.
  • Legal requirements, if compelled by law.

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage users to manage their own security measures as well.

6. Data Retention

Uploaded data remains stored until the user explicitly requests its deletion. While data is tied to a RAG session for organization, it is not automatically removed after a set duration. Instead, it persists until a user chooses to delete it. At this time, deletion requests must be manually processed by contacting us. We are actively working on user-managed deletion and modification features.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You have rights over your data, including:

  • Requesting access to your data.
  • Requesting deletion of your stored data.
  • Opting out of non-essential communications.

For any requests, contact us at support@liquidindex.dev.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or platform notifications.
